About Me
I was born in 1944 and qualified with a BA and BChir at Cambridge University in 1974. I attained a MA and MB at Cambridge University the following year. I worked in Winchester as a House Physician at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital before moving to London and working as a House Surgeon in pancreatic and biliary surgery at St George's Hospital. I also worked in the Mayday Hospital in Croydon as an SHO in Orthopaedics and the following year as a Registrar in Accident & Emergency. I moved back to Winchester in 1977 and worked as a Senior House Officer in Urology and Vascular Surgery.
I gained my FRCS in 1978 in England.
In 1978 I also moved to the West Midlands and worked for four years as a Registrar in Urology and General Surgery at Worcester Royal Infirmary (1978-1982). I then worked as a Senior Registrar in Accident & Emergency at East Birmingham Hospital for two years (1983 - 1985) and a further year as a Senior Registrar in Accident & Emergency Surgery at Dudley Road Hospital.
In 1986 I was appointed Consultant Accident & Emergency Surgeon at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch where I worked until 1993 when I became a Consultant in Accident & Emergency at Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.
From 2005 until March 2009 I was the Clinic Director for Accident & Emergency based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
I now devote my full time to medico legal work and, in addition to regular clinics in Worcester, Bromsgrove and Birmingham, I am available to travel throughout the West Midlands, Manchester, London and the South to visit patients and clients.
